El Arenal is committed to offering basic services to marginalized local groups, such as the rural, indigenous migrants who come to the city’s craft market to sell their wares. With its work, El Arenal hopes to support the children and youth to reach their full potential through quality education and social and emotional learning, eventually breaking the cycle of poverty.

The Fundación El Arenal and Snow Angels in Ecuador both believe that nutrition is paramount in the overall good health of the children, and plays a vital role and impact on their performance and learning at school; thus, The Nutritional
Program is an integral part of their services and mission.
The Nutritional Program has been designed by a nutritionist on a monthly basis to ensure a well-balanced diet for the children’s mental and physical development. The program consists of a snack and lunch for members of this program during weekdays. Snow Angels in Ecuador is a proud financial supporter of the Nutritional Program at Fundación El Arenal.
