“I’ve been part of the Soup Kitchen for a long time ago, and I am very happy to be part of this New Family. As a native Cuencana, I understand about the problematical issues that involves people in disadvantage, because I’ve been one of them…that’s why I decided to Volunteer for The Outreach Program. I was raised in a humble home with my sisters, and my grandma’s saying used to be: “charity starts at home “, and I grew up with this mentality. That’s why, I love what I do. My time is a precious treasure, that I only share with people, with good vibes. Like one of the Dalai Lama’s quotations: “Run away from people that only waste your time.” So, here I am…facing the solutions instead of complaining about the problems.A special Thanks to our Founder Mr. Bob Higgins and all our Volunteers, like Kathleen, Lynn & Tyler, who make this possible, and give their times to bring the shine to people’s lives.”
